To celebrate Jiwon’s Pokémon OST “We Are The One,” we again matched Pokémon (mostly newer ones this time) to each current fromis member. One could say we foresaw this collaboration 4 years in advance with our fromis_9 as Pokémon Gym Leaders and fromis_9’s PC Pokémon write-ups (it’s not a coincidence we swear).
Hayoung as Quaquaval
- Hayoung has been reminding people of her hip hop roots
- Quaquaval is literally the “Dancer Pokémon”
- It “uses its powerful legs to perform striking dances”
- Also “mesmerizes all that see it” just like Hanyang
Jiwon as Sinistcha
- Jiwon is renown for draining the energy from the people around her
- Sinistcha is known for its HP draining moves
- Even has two forms just like Jiwon/Megan does
- Just don’t put her up against Chuu or Chaehyun (the only two capable of reversing this effect)
Chaeyoung as Scovillain
- Has been killing her variety appearances filling them with “spicy” moments
- The “Spicy Pepper Pokémon” reflects her impeccable comedic sense
- Comes equipped with the move “Burning Jealousy” just for Mimiminu
Nagyung as Rotom
- It became known to the wider kpop world that HYBE’s PCs may have LoL installed
- Was confirmed it was gamer extraordinaire Nakko’s doing
- So why not have her be the Pokémon that can literally be a PC or phone
Jiheon as Ogerpon
- Ogerpon’s type and attitude depends on what mask it is wearing
- Similarly Jiheon says she acts differently to her friends vs flover
- Is embarrassed about revealing her “business” side to her real-life friends
