‘The third installment of “O’PENing 2024,” called “Our Beautiful Summer” (literal translation), has unveiled its cast and posters!

“O’PENing 2024” is a drama project showcasing works by new writers from CJ ENM’s O’PEN initiative. Following “The Otaku’s Daughter” and “Mi Ran of the Junk Shop” (literal translations), the third drama in the series will be “Our Beautiful Summer.”

“Our Beautiful Summer” is a coming-of-age drama about a 19-year-old girl who wants to die and a 19-year-old boy who wants to save her, focusing on a brief but beautiful summer in their lives. The cast will include Jang Gyuri, B.A.P’s Yoo Young Jae, Son Sang Yeon, Kim Min Ki, and Kim So Hye (in a special appearance).

Jang Gyuri will star as Choi Yeo Reum, a 19-year-old high school student who moves in next door to the quadruplets Ah Reum, Da Woon, and Woo Ri. In the drama, Yeo Reum feels abandoned by the world.’
