We would like to announce that as of Monday, August 16, PLEDIS Entertainment will serve as the management company for the group fromis_9 (members LEE SAEROM, SONG HAYOUNG, JANG GYURI, PARK JIWON, ROH JISUN, LEE SEOYEON, LEE CHAEYOUNG, LEE NAGYUNG, and BAEK JIHEON).

As part of the label reorganization of OFF THE RECORD ENTERTAINMENT, which had previously managed fromis_9, the company, artists and PLEDIS Entertainment engaged in a thorough discussion of the group’s future path and potential for further growth, and the decision was made to transfer the management of fromis_9 to PLEDIS Entertainment.

fromis_9 will thus continue their activities as part of our company, which has been behind the production of the group’s music from their debut album to their latest creations.

210817 – fromis_9 Confirmed to Be Preparing for September Comeback

‘fromis_9’s comeback is just around the corner!

On August 17, SPOTV News reported that the girl group will be releasing a new song on September 1.

A source from fromis_9’s new agency PLEDIS Entertainment clarified to Sports Kyunghyang, “fromis_9 is working with the goal of making a comeback in early September. This is their first comeback with PLEDIS Entertainment, so we’re paying special attention to them.”

fromis_9 recently transferred agencies. The girl group had been managed by Off the Record Entertainment since the agency’s establishment in 2018, but they are now housed under PLEDIS Entertainment, which is also home to NU’EST and SEVENTEEN.

If fromis_9 returns in September as planned, their upcoming comeback will be their first since May, when they released their second single album “9 Way Ticket” and the title track “WE GO“!’

This Thursday, August 19, the winners of 2021’s Brand Of The Year Awards were announced.

After Korean consumers chose the country’s biggest brands through online votes, fromis_9 was awarded the “Female Idol (Hot Trend)” prize.

Other artists awarded at the event include BTS, Brave Girls, Kang Daniel and IU.
